The crochet group meets on Monday mornings in the back meeting room of Holy Cross church, Goodwood. Starting from 9am and finishing 10.30 ish. New members always welcome. Just bring a ball of wool and a hook if you have one. If you don't know how to crochet we can teach you. You can bring other craft if you prefer. We work on our own projects and some joint projects. will be held at the 6pm Saturday Vigil Mass in St Therese Church on Saturday 1st November to remember our loved ones who have died. There will be an opportunity to light a candle in memory of them. Candles will be supplied. If you would like to bring a photo, this can be placed on the table near the Sanctuary.
CARE GROUP MELBOURNE CUP DAY - You are warmly invited to join us for a day of friendship, laughter and community spirit on Tuesday 4 November at 12 noon in the Kingswood Hall. Purchase your sweep tickets from Marnie and David as you enjoy nibbles and drinks and catching up with fellow parishioners. Lunch will be served at 12.30 and afterwards you are invited to stay and watch the big race on TV.

We invite all Caritas Ambassadors, supporters and Catholic Earthcare groups for a Thanksgiving Mass on November 7 at 5:45pm at St. Francis Xavier’s Cathedral. The Mass is to celebrate the blessings of the year, responding to God’s call for faith and justice for all. Following the Mass, a light supper will be provided in the parish hall. The Parish Men’s group meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 9.30am in the Mary McKillop Room in the Kingswood Hall in Cambridge Terrace. Our meetings include coffee and cake as we share fellowship and support for each other. We especially encourage men from all 3 Mass centres to come along and join us at our next meeting on xxxxx t.b.c. from 9.30 am. The Archdiocese of Adelaide is preparing for a Synod in 2026. We invite anyone who wants to learn more about the Synod to join an online formation session each month with other people from across the Archdiocese. Each session will explore a different aspect or theme of the Synod. More information and recorded formation sessions are available on the Synod website at togetherontheway.au.
