The Knitting Group

meet fortnightly in the back room at Holy Cross Church, Goodwood on Wednesday's at 10.30am. Next meeting 4th June, then 18th June.

Care group.

The Anointing Mass followed by Lunch will be in the Kingswood Hall on Wednesday 2nd July at noon. Now that winter is approaching our hall is warm and comfortable. All our Parishioners are welcomed by our wonderful volunteers, so come along and join us to receive this special sacrament of Healing, Strength and Forgiveness and then enjoy lunch with fellow parishioners, newcomers and friends. Donation $5.00 to help with costs. Following one 6th August.

MAJELLA’S SPIRITUALITY GROUP

Wednesday 18th June in the Mary MacKillop Room at the back of the Parish Hall at Kingswood from 1.00 - 2.30pm. This is open to ALL Parishioners.

Laudato Si Action Goals "We need your help"

The Emmaus Earthcare Working Group invite parishioners to help implement the 7 Laudato Si Action Goals . These goals include Response to the Cry of the Earth and Cry of the Poor; Ecological Education and Adoption of Simple Lifestyles. Grab a coffee and bring your ideas to a workshop on Sunday 25th May after 9am Mass at Our Lady of Dolours. Contact Tony Roach 0439 816 966 for more information.

Crochet / Craft & Cuppa

The crochet group meets every Monday morning in the back meeting room of Holy Cross church, Goodwood. Starting from 9am and finishing 10.30 ish. New members always welcome. Just bring a ball of wool and a hook if you have one. If you don't know how to crochet we can teach you. You can bring other craft if you prefer. We work on our own projects and some joint projects. Friendship and enjoyment. Contact Karen on 0448 890 515 for further information or just come along. (School term time only).

OPEN DOOR CAFE

The Cafe is open every Wednesday afternoon between 1-3pm in the back meeting room of the Holy Cross Church. Drop in for a cup of tea/coffee/cake and a chat.

Emmaus Parish’s Cana Cottages at Aldinga

idyllic location, affordable break…..Four old-style beach shacks on the esplanade at Aldinga Beach, each sleeps 10 (8 in bunks and a main bedroom) (as of 2024, rates are $75/night ($80/night during December and January). Emmaus parishioners have been holidaying down at Cana since 1965. Not the Grand Hyatt, but the Grand Hyatt doesn’t have our views or proximity to Adelaide’s favourite beach. School holiday short breaks available.
